Oil and cold wax on deep cradled wood panel, 36" x 24", unframed
During radiation treatments for breast cancer, I decided to play around with collage to occupy my time away from home. Collage is not my strong suit, but I did come up with a geometric composition I thought I could use for a painting. Top of mind while working on Precarious #2 (as with an earlier painting titled “Precarious”), were not only my feelings about living with cancer, but also my concerns about the pandemic and climate crisis.
