Upended

For me, geometric shapes often make effective metaphors. I’d been glued to the news, filled to overflowing with horrendous reports of unconscionable wars in numerous parts of the world, climate change disasters, and more. All this was on my mind as I painted Upended, which reflects my response to how crazed the world seems to be these days.
